  • Selectable and Adjustable Temperature Boost

Adding a weather-senstive control adjusts the boiler temperature up or down based on the outdoor air temperature.

Here is the concept:
  • On cooler days, a home requires more heat to remain at a comfortable temperature inside. On these days, the boiler temperature is automatically adjusted upward.
  • On warmer days, a home requires less heat to maintain comfort so the boiler temperature is adjusted down.
By adjusting the boiler temperature, it often runs at lower temperatures which enhances efficiency and can deliver savings of 15 - 20 %. It maximizes the comfort of the heating system by allowing the boiler to run longer cycles at a steady temperature minimizing wastefull on/off cycling.
